Massage oil
We have a two week old and are thinking of massaging him daily for better blood circulation and bonding. What oils would you recommend? We live in California and just learnt that coconut oil is not as moisturizing in California weather. Is there any one particular oil you would use over the other?

Car carrier seat to baby seat
Hi there. Our daughter is turning 1 next week and is 19.8lb and about 29” tall. We have the Mesa baby car seat - baby carrier. She seems ok in this but I imagine soon she will need a true car seat. How can I tell that it is time to switch to the bigger backward facing car seat.

Why does my 10 month old wake up between 5-6 am?
Hi all! I’m hoping you can help me out. My 10 month old has been waking around 5 to 6 am for about a month now and I’m not sure why. He takes two naps a day, one at 9 am and one at 1ish pm. We have a four hour wake window before his bedtime which usually falls between 6:30 and 7:30. Each nap is at least an hour long. He…

4 mos old, fighting at every nap - Please help!
Our baby girl used to be easier to put down for naps. Bounce on the birthing ball to the same 5 songs on a playlist while we sing along and put in her crib asleep. She won’t go down awake or drowsy but not asleep because she starts kicking and babbling that turns in to whining, and then into screaming and crying and I…

I’m not ready to deal with all the freedom that comes with putting on the toddler rail… The mattress is at the lowest level, but should I lower the mattress to the floor, still within the crib? Has anyone done that? Also, he has an en-suite bathroom, how do I ‘lock’ the…

Early waking help
Hello, my 8 month old has been waking up between 5:00 & 5:30am for the past 6 weeks or so, with the occasional 6:15am wake up. I’ve got white noise, good shutters to keep light out (sunrise is 6:20am right now anyway), have moved his bedtime 30 min earlier for the past 2 weeks and have tried to push his first nap to at…

Late afternoon nap troubles
Anyone else have issues putting their baby down for a nap in the late afternoon/early evening? My son is two months old and we always struggle with naptime if it's around the 4-6pm mark!

What was/is your mat leave binge-watching show?
I am (perhaps obviously) a FTM and found that I filled a lot of my time while on mat leave binge watching shows I always wanted to watch, but never had the time. I really leaned in to that time knowing that if I have more babies, my tv will likely be monopolized by a little person's shows :). My go-tos were Friday Night…
