Sleep
Hello, My baby is 9 months old and before he started sleeping through the night on his own. He was waking once in the night to feed. That faded out and he had times where he would wake up again for a little bit due to whatever, but went back to sleeping through the night however. Once 8 months hit. We went to two naps and…

Getting Rid of Bedtime Bottle
My 6month old goes to daycare for the majority of the day. He does not nap well at daycare, so he comes home exhausted. Our current nighttime routine is to come home, eat solids, bath and then bottle. He always falls asleep with his bottle. Nanit is recommending I put him to bed awake and move his feeding up in the…

5 month old sleep patterns
Hi My 5 month old has been through the regression (I think) we never sleep trained ,but we do have a very predictable routine (and times) for night time sleep and naps.He always woke up to nurse 2/3 times a night (exclusively BF) and then back to sleep .Past few days he will scream and cry and arch his back during the…

Night Light.
I love the new predicting features of the sound and light (even though I would have thought you were able to do this so much time ago -at least the trigger “x” when crying) but I have a new issue: the trigger does’t have a timmer. It would be usefull for it to be: - baby wakes (so at this time use this color and this…

Sound and Light Machine overheated
I feel like I’m lucky to have been tossing and turning last night to unplug the Nanit right away, but I was in my bed when I heard my son’s Nanit Sound and Light turn off in the other room. It was plugged into the charger so I knew there wasn’t a reason for it to turn off. I checked the WiFi and it was a strong connection,…

Bugs flying on monitor at night.
Does anyone else see bugs flying on the monitor at night? It’s definitely not dust, but there are no signs of bugs in our house during the day! I’m guessing the infrared light attracts them. Not sure what to do, I don’t want them landing on my baby. I’m going to try some sticky traps I guess.

Growth Manual Entry Defaulting to the day before
How has this not been fixed yet? If you add a manual entry in the growth chart, the date goes to the day before. So every time, I have to edit it the next day for yesterday. I already contacted support twice over this.

More activity options
I love the activity buttons but wish there was more options such as medicine logging, food logging, and temperature/ sickness logging.

Can Nanit see vomit in night vision mode?
Can Nanit see vomit in night vision mode? My 9 month old has thrown up twice tonight. The first time we forgot to turn on the camera after coming home from a family party this evening, and the second time it happened when we went in to plug the camera back in. We have the door open across the hall so that we can hear if he…

Hi Dr. Barnett, My 21 months old baby wakes up at 2am every night without crying, no fussing or anything like that, he stays laying in his crib staring at Nanit camera. I feed him well before bed and I make sure his diaper is changed and clean. He wakes up at 8:30am every morning, he naps from 11am-2:30pm. Then he stays…

Alerts or notifications for babies rolling over?
Does the Nanit Pro offer alerts or notifications for when the baby rolls over? I'm less concerned about capturing Milestones, and more concerned here with sleep safety. For example, if a 5 month old rolls over (i.e. back to tummy) during sleep, does Nanit offer the option to receive an alert or notification?

Bath time tip
I just received a “learn” tip from Nanit that says it’s a great time to transition my 5m 3w old into the full sized bath from the baby bath. We have always used a baby bath inside of the full bath since the beginning. Does this mean we need to start putting her in just the bathtub and no baby bath? She is still sitting…

Product request: cry detection sensitivity
The nanit is not great at knowing if my baby is really full on crying. She tends to make some noise in the middle of the night, but not much, and we will get a crying detected notification. We get even more notifications if we have the "any noise" detection notifications on, even at the lowest sensitivity, so we keep those…
