Sleepless
7 1/2 month old is having a lot of trouble with sleep. He used to sleep great, 7-6 with a wake up around 3/4 where he would giggle and play and then settle himself back to sleep. He dropped night feeding on his own. Since April, we have had multiple night wakings and their lasting long, sometimes close to 2 hours. I…

False Red Alert

Short Nap
My 8mo can spot herself to sleep at night no problem, giving us up to 8hrs in the first stretch. Naps are another story, we don’t feed to sleep, completely dark room, monitoring wake windows. Yet she’ll only sleep a 40-45 min nap. I don’t know how to transition her to two naps with those short naps. TIA

Navigating baby loss & fear about having another baby
hello, I sadly lost my son in 2020 to hydrops & trisomy 21 with my ex. It was by far the most heartbreaking & life altering experience I have ever endured, which I am still navigating every day. In 2022 I was blessed with my rainbow baby with my new & amazing partner & father - but with that has come new fears about having…

✨ June Parent Horoscopes
We've partnered with astrologer and new parent Aliza Kelly to bring you monthly horoscopes! In Aliza's words: Parenting is not just a quantitative experience; it's also extremely qualitative. It's soft, it's reflective, and it invites us to hold a mirror up to ourselves. Similarly, astrology is not a belief system, it's a…

Does past predict future pregnancies?
hello, I was pregnant with a baby boy - now in heaven - that was diagnosed with hydrops & trisomy 21 when I was 35 years old. I am now 38 years old with a healthy happy baby - with a different partner. Can you tell me the risks &/or chances of me having another baby with the same diagnosis or other health concerns? Am I…

Cry detection falsely notified on ambulance sirens
We live in a city close to a big hospital, every time a siren sound goes off from an emergency vehicle ( ambulance, police, fire truck ) Nanit gives me a notification that a cry was detected, because I turned on the notification feature. I'm asking an improvement in this feature, to first check if a baby is in the picture…

Enhanced Google home integration
Google home integration happened a few months ago (which is awesome!) however, it seems that the video feed only works on the nest hub. I would like to see the video feed to work on the Android app as currently it will only show a black screen when the camera is on. Also I would like to see more interactions with the…

Insight Activation
Hello, I participated in a survey to receive a free year of insights once our initial free plan was over. The directions say to use the 'Already Purchased Subscription" button, but every time I attempt to activate it, but every time I try to verify my activation code, the screen freezes. I'm very disappointed. Please…

Falling asleep unassisted
Does anyone have any tips for having baby (12 months old) fall asleep on her own in the beginning of the night? I have rocked my baby to sleep every night for a year and I'm noticing that she is waking up in the middle of the night and not able to sooth herself back to sleep. I've gotten the feedback that it's important to…
