We have a very consistent bedtime routine. It looks like this: 7:00 bath 7:15 dress for bedtime 7:20 bottle 7:30 asleep My issue is,…

3 month old will only contact nap
I have a 3 month old baby and he will not nap anywhere but on me. In his life, he’s only taken a maximum of 30 minute nap in his crib. In recent times, I’ll attempt to put him down to nap after he falls asleep in my arms but he wakes up immediately most times. I’ve attempted to put him down drowsy and awake, but he will…

Sleep troubles
My son was born 6 weeks early and was in the NICU for close to a month. He’s almost 2 months old. They saved him and gave him the best care, but now I feel like he always wants to be held. If he’s not he screams until he can barely catch his breath. As you imagine this makes sleeping extremely difficult. He will fall…

Transitioning with Nanit and other brands
So my baby is starting to get to the point that we need to stay working on transitioning out of the swaddle. I am looking at the transition swaddles that still provide some arm support but allow for him to roll safely when he starts to do this. My problem is he still likes his arms contained, but the Nanit swaddles are too…

Honestly, she doesn't want/need anything. However, since people are in the mood for giving, I've be responding with "My daughter would…

Don't blow the 18-year head start!!
I realized that many parents get all this advice on a number of things related to their newborn but rarely do they get advice around how to set up that newborn for a successful financial future. Somehow we have internalized the belief that waiting waiting until the child gets older is when it makes more sense to begin…
