Is it possible to leave my subscription on hold until we are ready to active it?

Can I use any other device other than my phone for overnight monitoring?
I have a iPhone 13 and my wife has the new iPhone 14 Pro. We have tried the overnight monitoring on each the phones (on night mode), while on the charger and it actually depletes the battery, again on the charger. Everything was fine until they forced the firmware update on us and now the Nanit is no longer finding a baby in the crib. It detects movement but that's it. Sound not working
Our Nanit pro sound isn’t working. I double checked sound settings, reset the camera and tried on different devices (iPad, phone, etc.) we’ve had this for a year and this is the first time we’ve had an issue with it.

Camera disconnects when the lights turn off in the room
Camera works when the lights are on but as soon as we turn the lights off in the room the camera begins audibly clicking off and on and says it is disconnected. more often than not I am unable to control the white noise in the app and have to turn the Nanit off at the plug ( sometimes more than once ) to get control back in the app. How can I resolve this?
