Background audio issue

my Nanit has the settings set to background audio but once I go out of the app, the sound stops. I have all the proper notifications turned on. This doesn’t happen on my husbands phone. Only on mine.

I rebooted the camera, unplugged it and restarted it. And my app is up to date
