just got our first red alert on 6 month olds 4th day using Nanit. It was during a nap. I cannot tell on camera if he was breathing or not but the alarm startled him and he was fine. I reported it as false, how soon will I receive feedback? I had changed the night mode off, does that effect it? I am so anxious now but also…
My baby likes to roll on her side and when she does the breathing monitor stops working, just spins and spins “searching for baby wearing breathing wear” and never finds the band or baby. How do we fix this?
Hello! My baby girl has learned to turn on her side during sleep. She wearing the sleep sack but the nanit doesn't pick up the breathing band. Has anyone else had this issue? What did you do to fix it if anything?
this may be a dumb question but does the Nanit track breathing even when you don’t have the monitor breathing motion thing going on at bottom of screen? Like if it’s not showing how many BPM is it still tracking breathing and will it alert if it doesn’t track a breathe?! First night using it so very nervous. Thank you!!
I've seen other posts on here and spoke with other users who have the same issue. The Nanit motion detection does not pick up when the baby rolls from back to stomach to sleep. My baby has been rolling to his stomach to sleep for 3 weeks now and not once has it recorded a roll on the highest sensitivity. Yet it records…
Hi We’ve just received our first Red Alert on our 7 month old which has left me anxious to go back to sleep! I’ve read on another post if I report it as False Alert I can be provided further feedback. Please can you advise what information I will get and how it will be sent as I would like to see this information. I’ve…
Last night my wife and I experienced our first red alert - Thankfully, it was a false alarm and the baby was okay. The red alert went off on her phone because we sleep with the app open on her phone. That being said, I was surprisingly concerned when I realized I did not receive any alert notification on my phone (I have…
We had a red alert alarm go off at 5am after 1 week with our 3month old in his crib. I ran as fast as I could and thankfully everything was okay. Was there something that could have triggered this outside of not breathing? In looking at the video, it looks like the band was on correctly and had not gone off all night…
I have received the message worded something like “breathing wear motion not detected. Was baby removed from crib?” two nights in a row in the middle of the night. I wake up and see this message occurred hours ago and it’s alarming. I have tried power cycling the unit. Why does this keep happening?
We just got our first red alert and my husband and I are trying to figure out if we need to contact our pediatrician. We’ve never gotten one before and it’s been 18 months, so we’re beginning to think it was real but we want to verify. How can I check?
