Red Alert
My baby is 4 months and we have been big fans of the Nanit product. We’ve used every day since he came home from the hospital. Tonight a red alert went off and I legit think my soul left my body. I’ve never been more terrified. I ran over to him and he was breathing fine (thank god). Are false alarms a normal thing?? This…

Red alert now can’t connect breathing monitor
I had my second red alert in 2 months and this time when I try to turn the breathing monitor back on to measure his breathing it just says connecting. I’ve deleted the app and re installed it. Restarted the internet. I’ve restarted the camera, took baby out of crib again to see if it said breathing session ended no baby…

App will not connect to breathing band after update
My app has been ‘connecting’ for over an hours after the update. Unfortunately it’s the middle of the night so I cannot go in and take it off the mount without waking up my son. Is this common with the latest update?

Notification sound when baby out of crib
The breathing monitoring "times out" when the baby has been out of the crib for a certain amount of time. The problem is, is because we're trying to put baby back to sleep. Then the monitoring stops and the notification sound goes on the camera and our phones. I want to be able to turn the sound off and I have looked…

BREATHING RATE LIMITs
Hi! I would like to request a feature to have an alarm go off if breathing rate exceeds a certain number eg. 50bpm. And ideally you would be able to program that number that triggers the alert. That way we might be alerted to any kind of respiratory distress over-night and during naps. Thank you!

What to do with an arms down swaddler?
Are there no options for breathing wear when my baby prefers to be swaddled with arms down? She didn't like the Nanit swaddle as it's too loose. She's only 6 days old, for reference. Any guidance would be great as I'd love to use the breathing monitoring and it's one of the reasons I chose Nanit. Thanks!

Not sure if Red alert notification failed or if my settings are off.
Today we had our first false red alert with our 8 month old son, I reviewed the footage and I could see him moving and breathing the whole time and I already reported it in order to get feedback on what might have gone wrong. But we got the alert on the iPad that had the screen on in our bedroom but my husband and I did…

False red alerts?
Hello, Last night we had 2 red alerts about 5 hours apart. Both times we went into the room and he was still breathing, but in a deeper sleep. How do we know if these were actual events of no breathing vs false alarms? It scared us to death and don't want it to happen again! Thanks!

False Alarms every time "baby is moving"
Nothing changed in our sleep setup but suddenly last night every single time my baby moved, I would get a notification that breathing movement could not be detected. I would tap the notification and in the app it would show my baby moving his head and body a little trying to fall asleep (nothing new) and the breathing…

Red alert
I received a red alert in the middle of the night. I had noticed the respirations were lower than normal as they were going to sleep but the band count was off as I took the respirations by hand. Anyway we went to bed and got a red alert a couple hours later. The video shows the band in place and baby on his back. He…

Red alert
Hi. I had my first red alert on my 11 week old. When I rushed into the room he was breathing and the owlet sock said his o2 and HR were good. Is it normal to get false readings. Also, the last couple of days it says his respiratory rate is between 19-23 which it normally said between 25-35. Idk what is going on.

Breathing band Questions..
Hello! 👋🏼First time mom here- My baby is 7 weeks and I’m curious does the breathing band work with other sleep sacks.. baby loves the dreamland sack (I know AAP doesn’t recommend weighted sacks now) but anyway I’m Just curious, or do I have to use the Nanit sacks which I do have but not sure if he likes yet!

“Baby is moving” status incorrect
When the breathing monitor is on, the “baby is moving” status will display instead of the breaths per minute when the baby isn’t moving at all. Is there something I can do to make sure the camera is capturing the breathing activity and motion more accurately? His breathing band is as tight as necessary, his bassinet is…

10 False Alarms in one night
I’m extremely frustrated that I’ve followed all directions for the breathing band use/wear and we have 10 false code red alarms last night, 10! We over night shipped a swaddle with breathing band to our house for tonight and it is eat too big on my 7 lb newborn. I’ve spent so much money on this machine and it’s accessories…

Breathing brand red alert
This morning my fiancé and I received our first red alert for our 5 month old. After going over the footage for the night we can’t see what went wrong. The breath band was covered by a blanket and slightly showing but we can see our son moving in the video. I would like to know what his breath data looked like and what…
