Ipad - Not using Breathing ware, App keep trying to find it

On the IPAD app for Nanit, we keep getting a message that it can't detect the breathing ware. The issue is that we are not using it. We did not set the app to start the breathing monitor either. This is becoming frustrating because once the message pop up and we are not at the ipad , the ipad then
