Cry detection falsely notified on ambulance sirens
We live in a city close to a big hospital, every time a siren sound goes off from an emergency vehicle ( ambulance, police, fire truck ) Nanit gives me a notification that a cry was detected, because I turned on the notification feature. I'm asking an improvement in this feature, to first check if a baby is in the picture…

Dark Mode/Theme (Not Night Mode)
Is there a dark mode (theme) option or way to make the app auto adjust its light/dark theme based on my phone's current theme (i.e. if I have one scheduled to start/end the Nanit one would follow suite)? Sometimes I'll be in a dark room with baby and click on the notifications and get blinded by the bright white screen.…

Visual indicator for noise/volume
I would love to see a visual volume indicator on the app. I always have it muted and it would be nice to see a volume indicator to know if they’re talking to themselves vs crying hysterically — the “sound detected” alert doesn’t help differentiate.

Clock Display
I would love for the clock display slider to be like nightlight feature on the camera where it's a percentage rather than preset options. I have it set to the lowest it can be (without being off) and its still fairly bright.

Stopping/Starting white noise without the app
Hi, We regularaly leave the white noise on all day because we may not have our phones to hand to open the app and turn off the white noise. It's also a bit of a faff clicking through the screens, waiting for it to load etc. What would be great, is something like a physical button to just press to turn on/off the white…

BREATHING RATE LIMITs
Hi! I would like to request a feature to have an alarm go off if breathing rate exceeds a certain number eg. 50bpm. And ideally you would be able to program that number that triggers the alert. That way we might be alerted to any kind of respiratory distress over-night and during naps. Thank you!

Feature Request: Video History Playback Speed
Hi - we are currently sleep training our LO and I am spending a lot of time reviewing night wake ups. As it is, there seems to only be a 10s jump forward or backward but watching in real-time is excruciatingly slow. It would be great to have a 2x, 4x, even 16x playback to help me focus in on the important times and move…

Integration Suggestion: Nanit Pro with Samsung WindFree AC
Hello Nanit Team and Community, I am an enthusiastic user of the Nanit Pro and would like to suggest an innovative integration that I believe could benefit many parents. My proposal is to integrate the Nanit Pro with the Samsung WindFree WiFi air conditioner. The idea is to use Nanit’s artificial intelligence to subtly…

Quiet alert notification on iOS 17
has anyone noticed how quiet the notifications are after updating to IOS 17? We’ve missed every notification with the new Apple iOS 17 default alert tone. The default alert tone cannot be changed on the phone, is there any way to change it from the app? Is there a fix being planned to allow us to change the alert on the…

Feature request: Swipe to cycle through multiple Nanit cameras.
My wife and I have two children and we have a Nanit camera on each. It takes 3 clicks to go to the other camera and make it full screen. When, like with other apps, you can just literally swipe right/left to cycle through cameras, in full screen. Also this is more ergonomic than reaching with your finger to multiple…

Wifi going down - no alert
Is there a way for Nanit to provide an alert to the caregivers mobile when they wifi goes down? We’ve just woken to the wifi off in our house and the nanit camera not working, I’ve no idea how long it’s been off and therefore no idea if our baby has been crying/needing us. Really making me question having a camera that is…

Sound + Light Alexa Support
I’m switching over from a different light and sound machine from one of your competitors. It has Alexa support and I was able to setup nice “routines” to turn on the light to the color I selected and sounds I selected by saying “Alexa it’s nap time” for example. I was also able to control the light and sound by using my…
