Quiet alert notification on iOS 17

has anyone noticed how quiet the notifications are after updating to IOS 17? We’ve missed every notification with the new Apple iOS 17 default alert tone. The default alert tone cannot be changed on the phone, is there any way to change it from the app? Is there a fix being planned to allow us to change the alert on
