WiFi

I setup the Nanit Pro a week ago and have been experiencing wifi disconnects everyday. The only solution is to unplug and replug the power brick. The app says my 2.4 ghz is strong and the apps doesn't let me switch to 5 ghz to test. I have rebooted the modem (AT&T), router (Asus), and factory reset the Nanit a few times,…

Recently every time I go to use the two-way microphone to talk to my daughter through the camera it says connection failed and to try again. We have unplugged the camera and power source and the issue continues. I have updated my app in the App Store so just very confused on why this feature no longer works.

Hi everyone and Nanit Product Team, I’m currently a heavy user of the Nanit ecosystem, with three Nanit Pro cameras running simultaneously in my home: one for my newborn, one for my 2-year-old son, and one for my 3-year-old daughter. While the system is great, managing three active feeds at once has highlighted some…

So i tryed to get my nanit on a road trip. Got to the hotel tried connecting it to the Hotel Wi-Fi with no succes, made a hotspot from the phone with no succes, forced it to 2,4ghz, than to 5ghz, Gave up on having a monitor on that holiday, came back home with it connected to the stand home the same problem although it has…

we bought light and sound and have had problems with it since day one. It won’t connect to Wi-Fi even though the app says it’s connected. The light feature works great, but the sound cuts out and it will only play a half a second of white noise before turning off again I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting on the website.…

Hi. The wifi button on my nanit is stuck and the camera is not working anymore. There are several reports in the nanit community about this issue and looks like I'm facing the same problem. This seems like a widespread issue and a manufacturing defect with nanit. I reached out to nanit support and I got a very curt…

Hi, I've been using the Nanit Pro for the last year with no issues with my Wi-Fi network. About 3 weeks ago, I started getting very choppy video on a work call (using Teams), lag, etc. This also happened with other video calling apps like Facetime and WhatsApp. I did some troubleshooting and identified that it was the…

Went to bed with background audio on but from midnight to 3 am it says my device was disconnected and there was no monitoring or anything going on. We had a bad storm so our WiFi most likely went out, however I have the cellular setting turned so even without WiFi it will keep the background audio on. Is there anyway to…

I saw a few other posts on both this site and others around the Nanit cam causing latency and disconnect issues for every device on our network. Ive gone through all of the troubleshooting steps multiple times, changed bandwidth usage to low, activated QoS on my router and the issues persist. Even after changing to low and…

I've seen several others post this issue with their Nanit cameras. One of our cameras has a loose wifi button and I cannot connect to a new network. What is the fix, here? We are traveling this week and I need this fixed ASAP so we can connect the camera to the new wifi.
