Nanit Pro causing extreme latency and disconnects with other devices on network

I saw a few other posts on both this site

and others around the Nanit cam causing latency and disconnect issues for every device on our network.

Ive gone through all of the troubleshooting steps multiple times, changed bandwidth usage to low, activated QoS on my router and the issues persist. Even after changing to low and closing the Nanit app on all devices I still see the camera using 5 mb/s (!!) upload speed on my router. What on earth is going on?
