Hi - for the past month when I set the app to "background audio" once I am out of the app the audio skips in and out. I can hear my white noise machine and then it gets choppy. Seems to be a common issue for a lot of people. And yes I have power cycled many times. please help

background audio keeps disconnecting after working for 8 months
Our Nanit has been tracking night time sleep as a nap. He usually wakes up between 4-5 to have a bottle then goes back to sleep. Put him back to sleep around 5 AM this morning and he woke up at 9. The Nanit counted it as a 4 hour nap. My “out of bed” time is set 8 am - 10 am. This is the 3 or 4th time this has happened and…
Microphone is currently not functioning but camera works fine. Have two cameras, both on same firmware. One works, the other doesn’t. Have tried resetting and rebooting it, along with toggling sound settings.
