Camera has never given activity / insights

My camera for one day did the “mum picked baby up at this time” or when they fell asleep. It’s never done it before. It was so extremely useful and I would love to use the feature as it would tell me when I’m putting him down , how his nights are going etc.

My crib is positioned perfectly with the gap on the left hand side (pickup zone). The only thing I can see that could be potentially inferring with it is a mobile but it says mobiles are ok!?
