How to activate insights subscription?

I’m planning on getting the ‘Best selling camera’ bundle. I’m still a few months out from my due date. If I buy an insights plan right now does it automatically activate right away. Or do I activate it when I set up the camera. I also have a camera for my toddler does the insight plan only go to one
