flex stand not working

Hi, I have been using the product for a year and so far sometimes when we attached the camera to the flex stand it was wobbly but today it wasn't working and I had to detach and reattach the camera and then a small metal part fell off. Unfortunately I cannot use the camera now, can you please help? Is
