Nanit will not stay/turn on

It’s been a few hours so far of trying to turn our Nanit on and it will not stay on. When plugged in, it briefly shows the red lights and makes that faint click sound. However, about two seconds after, the red lights turn off and the camera is completely off. I try to press the “wifi” button to make
