New camera/insights subscription

We replaced our camera with the new pro, our old camera account had been upgraded to insights premium, why does the new camera not have the same insights? It’s the same account. We are not using both cameras.

    Hi @Jackie26 - it looks like you set your new Nanit Pro camera as "New" rather than replacing the Nanit Plus camera with the Pro - this resulted in the Pro camera not taking over the Plus camera and thus the Insights plan that you purchased.

    To get your Insights subscription properly transferred over to your new Pro camera, you can detach the Nanit Pro and repair it, replacing the Nanit Plus, using these following instructions.

    To detach the Nanit Pro:

    • Open your Nanit app
    • Use the hamburger menu to navigate to "[Baby name]'s Settings" for the NEW Nanit Pro camera
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and tap Advanced
    • Select "Detach camera"

    To re-pair the Nanit Pro as a replacement of the Nanit Plus:

    • Navigate to the live screen of the old Nanit Pro you want to replace
    • Open the hamburger menu
    • Select "Add/Replace camera" > "Setup your Nanit"
    • On the next screen, tap "Replace your camera" at the bottom of the screen (don't select Nanit Pro at the top) - screenshot below
    • Go through the pairing process - your Insights plan should carry over!
