I read that it was possible to use the nanit without a subscription, however, I don't seem to see a way to activate the app without paying for a plan. Can you help resolve this?
On iPhone 17 Pro, Nanit background audio stops immediately when switching apps, even with screen unlocked. Background App Refresh is on and Low Power Mode is off. It seems to be a Nanit IOS issue!?

My husband and I each have the Nanit app on our phones. That’s 2/2 of the allowed users for our free account. If we buy the home display will that be counted as a third user that we would have to purchase a plan in order to use? Or does it just integrate seamlessly with the camera as a “free” user?
