Nanit won’t close from background on Samsung

Partner has a Samsung Galaxy S7 and he can’t seem to stop the camera running on the background.

I know the live feature intends for the camera to do this. But with my iPhone, I double click the apps, swipe up and it closes the app all together (no background running).

However, my partner touches the bottom left button feature and selects close all, which he says closes all his other apps, but Nanit continue to run in the background.
