Camera positioning and zoom functionality

we were unable to place the camera in the center of the long side of the crib so we mounted it center of the short side of the crib. It is still 66in high and 6 feet from where baby lays in center of crib. Is this okay?

also, in the app the camera is pretty zoomed out and you can see much of the room around the crib. Is there a way to keep the camera zoomed in on the crib only so it is a closer view?
