Inquiry about Home Display

My husband and I each have the Nanit app on our phones. That’s 2/2 of the allowed users for our free account. If we buy the home display will that be counted as a third user that we would have to purchase a plan in order to use? Or does it just integrate seamlessly with the camera as a “free”
