Anyone else find the stand incredibly fragile?

We got the nanit pretty much specifically because of the wifi ability and expected a high end product for this price. I'm happy with the camera itself. Strictly, the camera.

I'm not happy that the camera insertion point on the stand cracked after removing the camera once or twice on the stand. I'm not happy that my tiny one year old with very poor fine motor skills was able to topple and shatter the base of the stand without even really trying. (Shockingly, the camera survived.)

But I'm especially not happy that there's not a split screen view (which I assumed such a high end product would have) and that after spending money on a new wall mount, we'll likely have to get a different monitor all together that does have a split screen view. What a pain.

  • Hi @Knk0609 Thanks for your feedback here - I'm sorry to hear that we haven't met your expectations - specifically with the stand. I'd be happy to discuss this further with you. Feel free to PM me directly and we can take it from there!

As for split-screen, you will (hopefully) be happy to hear that we are working on this feature! Our Chief Product Officer shared an update today here.
