Suggestion for Night vision feature optimization

my daughter is scared of the red lights staring at her above her bed, so we end up switching them off and losing the night vision mode utility.

that said we still check on her during the night and need to turn it back on and off. That means going five steps including a long scroll down each time to switch it on and back off.
