My 2.5 year old is waking up in the middle of the night

so my daughter who is 2 years 7 months old is waking in the middle of the night sometimes 2.5. Hours after bedtime and won’t go back down unless it with a parent beside her also. Won’t go fall asleep in her own only way is while I read books or sit in the room. I have tried multiple ways
