We are experiencing the same issue with our Nanit Pro. Any update on the fix? Lately, it has happened more frequently.
We are having the exact same problem with the sound and on top of that the camera will randomly get super pixilated and not work unless I restart the camera. Usually the two cooonside. Is there any update? This is super frustrating for such an expensive camera to be doing this.
Has anyone had any issues with the white noise function changing volume settings during the night?
. We had an incident last night where the white noise switched on and off at full blast - which consequently significantly upset my little one
This morning when I woke up, my camera stream was disconnected. I closed and reopened the app which then picked up the stream again and the white noise was SO LOUD! I had set it at a very soft volume last night. The app showed that there was no noise playing which was CLEARLY incorrect, so it wouldn't let me turn off the noise. Then the app crashed and said I needed to install a camera update. I did that and finally the noise turned off.
I am an Audiologist and know very well the danger of prolonged exposure to high noise levels. I have no idea how long my baby was being exposed to this extremely high level of noise. I could hear it across the house through her closed door when I opened my bedroom door!
Has anyone else had this happen? This is a huge safety concern.
Yes! This happened to us last night. My baby didn't wake up with the volume change and my camera stream had disconnected in the night so I didn't notice until the morning. I have no idea how long it was blasting her little ears at full volume. This is so dangerous!
@amandalevy42 Thank you for posting here and I'm sorry this happened to you! We have identified the issue that is causing the irregularities with the White Noise feature. Our team is currently working on a fix. I've also escalated this over to our support team so they are able to review exactly what happened to you in a bit more detail.

This happens to us too! I’ve made a comment about it before but never got anything resolved!
This has happened to us as well! If gets sooo loud! I always have to unplug the camera to get it to stop
@Melanie, please add us to the list of users experiencing this issue. We are experiencing the exact same issue which has been quite challenging as it keeps resulting in our son waking up. It's disappointing given how expensive the system is.
