5 1/2 month old twins sharing a room

hello! Was hoping for some advice on how to sleep train 5 and a half month old twins who share the same room together. First time parents and everything we read or hear says let them cry it out for 5 or so minutes, however we have one twin sleeping the night and the other waking every sleep cycle (45mins)
