Sound stopped working in the middle of the night

when I went to bed last night my sound was working…. I woke up this morning and the sound wasn’t coming through my phone anymore and my daughter had been up for hours. I am so upset and frustrated. I feel like I can’t trust the app anymore and am wondering if I should now sleep with an additional monitor??
