Nanit camera temp/humidity inconsistency

I have two cameras in the same room, (small baby room) the newest camera purchased this year, and the older camera purchased in 2020 have wild temperature and humidity readings. They sit less than 3 feet from each other and will show a difference of 5-7 degrees and 6-10 degrees of humidity. Why so inconsistent? I have turned them off
