Help with transitioning out of regular nanit swaddle

Hello, I have a 9 week old, who loved being swaddled but now really wants to have his hands near his face. There isn't a transitional swaddle in nanit brand, so I am wondering how others have transitioned. Can you leave one arm out of the nanit newborn swaddle?
