Feeding solids and teething

Hello,

I started to feed my 8 months old solids when they turned 6 months old. She has grown in two teeth and has suddenly preferred milk over everything else I've attempted to feed her. Is this normal behavior for a teething baby and is there anything I can be doing to help her learn how to to eat solids while
