Baby moves at night

Hello, we have a 6 month old that just moves so much at night. He’ll start at one end of the crib and will slowly inch his way to the opposite side till he eventually hits his head and wakes up crying. Is anyone else experiencing this? He’ll sit up too randomly and fall face first which doesn’t help. Not
